What to do on Monday
Back as Marisol, for the whole group: 18 items need action right now, the four tiles across the top of the work queue: 5 already lapsed, 4 missing, 4 expiring and 5 with renewal work due. Another 3 payer applications are sent and waiting on the payer; they are in the list too, and counted on the Pending applications tile. The work queue opens with one sentence saying who cannot work, what is late and what to do first, then puts everything in order. The monthly exclusion check is one task for the whole roster, recorded in one step.
For the partners' meeting, the status report prints every provider against every credential on a landscape sheet that reads on a black and white copier: one page for a group this size, and a large group's runs longer with the column headings on every page. The calendar shows the busy months coming, and the CSV export answers the next payer or hospital that asks for a roster.
Everything in this environment is fictional: invented providers, obviously fake numbers, made up insurers. The rules underneath are real and tested, and the renewal rules page shows each default lead time and where it came from, ready to be set to how long things take at your group.
A bar stays at the top of every screen so you can come straight back to this step.
