  1. Look up what the state board needs for this renewal, including the CME hours; the rules differ by state, so confirm them with the board.
  2. Collect the CME certificates from the provider and check they cover the hours.
  3. Submit the renewal on the board's site and pay the fee.
  4. When the new expiry shows on the board's license lookup, record the renewal here, then record the verification.
